Every youth deserves a trained leader. Just as we teach our our youth to use a compass and read a map before setting them loose in the wilderness, Scout Volunteers are standing by to help prepare Unit Scouters how to guide and develop the youth in their units with quality, active, and engaging programming. Training For All Programs

University Of Scouting
The University of Scouting is a supplemental training opportunity for all adult Scouters. It is the only time during the year where you can find, all in one place, the widest variety of training opportunities in all program areas: Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts as well as District and Council Volunteers. Whether you are new to the program or a veteran of years, the University provides interesting courses in all areas of Scouting, including Position Specific Training.

NRA Basic Rifle Instructor Course
The Cradle of Liberty Council will be sponsoring a fall NRA Basic Rifle Instructor Course for all Scouters. This is an intense course that is held over four sessions (you must attend all).
